Who Makes a Good YANA Candidate?
The majority of WOMEN in early recovery suffering from an addiction, trauma, or dual diagnosis would benefit greatly by living for an extended period of time (6 months +) in a supportive and safe recovery living environment.
• Adult Women who would benefit from a community of support and accountability as they apply new recovery tools to day-to-day life
• Young Adult Women who require habilitation, i.e. basic living skills
• Older Adult Women who would benefit from one-on-one attention as well as community support as they establish a new purpose in life
• Women with Chronic Relapse behavior who would benefit from practical application of recovery tools to day-to-day life
• Women who are returning from a treatment environment and would benefit from a step-down supportive living environment and those with co-occurring issues
• Professionals Women who need continued monitoring for career purposes
Admission Standards
• Must be female and at least 18 years of age
• Must be willing to commit to the initial 120-day stabilization adjustment period. We are aware that individual needs vary. The residents can stay for up to 2 years.
• Must be at least 72 hours drug and alcohol free
• Must have completed detoxification/primary treatment or be active in a recovery program with a professional referral
Children are not permitted as residents. Pregnant clients must be in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Each prospective resident will be evaluated by a staff members to determine the appropriateness of admission based on the above criteria.
